WHAT WE BUILD

Built around how HVAC work gets won

You already know your trade better than a website can explain. These are the parts that carry that across to someone who has not worked with you yet.

Quote Builder

Customers select what they need and get a price on the spot, so enquiries arrive already specified and ready to confirm.

Call-Out & Service Requests

Commercial and residential enquiries handled on separate paths, with site address, unit count and urgency captured up front. After-hours requests route straight to whoever is on call.

Maintenance Plans & Renewals

Service plans with clear inclusions, visit frequency and pricing, an online sign-up, and renewal reminders that go out before a contract reaches its end date.

Credentials & Accreditations

Registrations, equipment accreditations and memberships set out in one place, with the detail a facilities manager or consulting engineer looks for before adding you to a list.

Installation Galleries

Completed installations filtered by building type, each carrying the equipment used and the scale of the job, so a prospect sees work that resembles their own.

Client Portal

Service history, upcoming visits, job status and past invoices behind one login, cutting routine calls to your office and making contracts easier to renew.

What an HVAC website costs

Pricing starts at R18,500. Where your site lands depends on how much of the list above your business needs, and we’ll tell you which parts are worth it before you pay for anything.

  • Essential site, from R18,500: a fast, well-built site with your services, credentials, installation gallery and an enquiry form that separates commercial and residential work.
  • Leads and contracts, from R32,000: everything in the essential site, plus the quote builder, maintenance plan sign-ups with renewal reminders, and pages for each service and area you cover.
  • Full system, from R45,000: adds a client portal with service history, upcoming visits and invoices, plus connections to the tools you already use.
  • Ongoing care, from R1,500 a month: hosting, updates, backups, security and small changes, usually done within one business day.

Why it costs what it does

A website like this is best measured against the work it brings in, not against other websites. One commercial installation or a single maintenance contract can be worth more than the whole build. If the site helps you win one extra job a year, it has paid for itself.

A good site lasts years. Spread over three, a R32,000 build works out to under R900 a month, and it keeps working after that.

Cheaper websites exist, and for some businesses they’re the right choice. The difference is time. A low-cost site is usually a template with your logo added. What we build is planned around how your enquiries come in, written for the people who hire you, and tested with a real job before it goes live. That takes weeks of work, and the price reflects it.

DC Installations, a duct and steel manufacturer in East London, brought in R80,000 in the first three weeks of their new site.

Every quote is fixed and broken down line by line, so you can see what each part costs and leave out anything you don’t need.

THE PROCESS

How your site gets built

01

Meeting & Listening

First we talk about how your business actually runs.

Where your work comes from, how you price it, who takes the calls, and what eats up the most time in a normal week. No forms and no brief to fill in. Most of what we need comes out of one conversation.

02

Scope & Fixed Price

You get a price before anything starts, and it does not move.

We write up exactly what is being built, broken down so you can see what each part costs on its own, with a date for when it will be finished. Nothing begins until you are happy with both.

03

Design

We lay the pages out around the way your customers actually buy.

Not a stock layout with your logo dropped into it. You see every page before a line of code exists, which is the stage where changing your mind costs nothing but a conversation.

04

Your Sign-Off

Nothing gets built until you have said yes to the design.

You tell us what to change and we change it. This is the cheapest point in the whole job to be picky, so we would rather you were picky here than after it is built.

05

Build

The site gets built, and you watch it happen.

You get a link to see it coming together rather than waiting to be shown the finished article. Anything that needs adjusting gets adjusted while we are still in there working on it.

06

Testing & Launch

You run a real job through it before anyone else sees it.

A real quote or a real call-out, tested on phones, tablets and desktop. Then we handle the move over, the domain and the email. Your old site stays up until the new one is working properly.

07

Maintenance & Support

We stay on it after launch.

Updates, backups and security handled in the background. When something needs changing, it comes straight to us and is usually done within one business day.

“We relied on word of mouth for over 40 years and never saw the need for a website. Within weeks of launching we already had an order come through it. SouthLine understood what we do and built something that genuinely represents us.”

Frequently asked questions

An essential site usually takes three to four weeks from the day you sign off the quote. Larger builds with a quote builder, maintenance plans or a client portal take six to ten weeks. You’ll get a finish date in writing before anything starts.

50% deposit to start, 25% once you’ve approved the design, and the final 25% before the site goes live. The price is fixed, so it won’t change halfway through unless you ask us to add something.

Very little. Most of what we need comes out of one conversation. After that, we’ll ask for your logo, photos of completed installations and any registrations or accreditations you’d like shown. We write the page content from what you tell us, and you check it before it goes live.

Yes. We’ll look at what’s working and what isn’t, and either improve it or rebuild it, depending on which makes more sense. Your current site stays up until the new one is tested and ready, so there’s no downtime.

Yes, once the site is live and the full balance has been paid. From then on, the website, its content and the domain belong to you. If you ever want to move to another developer or host, we’ll hand everything over. You’re never locked in.

For a site that takes quotes, orders or bookings, we’d say yes. From R1,500 a month, we look after hosting, updates, backups and security, and make small changes within one business day. Your site connects to forms, email and the systems you already use, and those connections need regular updates to keep working. Without that care, things can stop working without anyone noticing.

We’re based in East London but work with businesses across South Africa. Meetings happen by video call, and everything else by email or phone.

Yes. Once your site is live, we can also look after the work that keeps enquiries coming in:

  • Ongoing SEO: new service and area pages, articles and monthly improvements, so you show up for more of the searches your customers make.
  • Social media management: regular posts on Facebook and Instagram, from R2,000 a month.
  • Ad management: Google and Meta ads set up and managed, with a monthly report on what you’re getting for your spend.
